Abstract

Axiolinguistics is a modern linguistic field that studies the manifestation of values through language. In this regard, selecting and analyzing an axiolinguistic model contributes to the effectiveness of research. The conceptual scheme that demonstrates the position of a value within the language system, discourse, and mental–cognitive structure serves as an axiolinguistic model. In the scholarly literature, it is also referred to as the discursive–pragmatic model and is recognized as one of the most contemporary approaches. The article examines values expressed in media discourse.
