Abstract

This article examines the role of reading foreign-language literary texts in shaping students’ motivation through a comprehensive analytical approach. The study substantiates how the integration of cognitive, affective, and linguistic factors influences both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of learners. Furthermore, the authenticity, cultural load, and semantic depth of literary texts are interpreted as key elements that activate motivational mechanisms within the educational process.
